Our efforts across our Integrated Urgent Care and Primary Care services are vital as part of the collective national response to COVID-19.
Many of our front line staff will be the first point of contact patients suffering from COVID-19 will have with the NHS, along with patients with any other condition. In this time it is imperative that these services remain operational to provide help, guidance and access to clinical treatment.
With the increase in calls and online enquiries to our NHS 111 sites and GP out-of-hours services we need to recruit, train and utilise large numbers of individuals to both clinical and non-clinical positions.
We have also streamlined our recruitment and induction processes; this allows us to ensure you are able to work safely in our services as soon as possible following your application.
In particular, to aid our efforts in the COVID-19 response at present we are looking to recruit into the following categories / vacancies:
•
Retired Clinicians – with the GMC, NMC and HCPC re-registering clinicians who have retired within the past 3 years we have opportunities for such individuals to support our NHS 111 and GP out-of-hours services by conducting telephone and online triage from your own home.
