We are looking for an organised and efficient Rota Team Leader to assist in providing an accurate and timely manpower plan, ensuring that adequate cover is available in our Surrey Out-of-Hours (OOH) services.

Responsibilities & Duties
•To work closely with the Performance and Quality Team to ensure that internal and external targets
•Provide training to the Rota administrators to perform day to day rota duties to ensure full service
•Be responsible for the daily uploads on Rota Master.
•Work with the Rota Supervisor to proactively plan for and manage the rotas to include forward
planning of recruitment and training in liaison with appropriate teams.
•Develop and maintain robust and effective communications between all operational staff.
•Provide any reports on trends that may impact on the provision of the service.
•Inform the Rota Supervisor if there is any foreseen ‘risk’ such as a shortage of clinicians/Operational
staff on the rota and work with the Rota Supervisor to provide a plan of action.
•Be responsible for uploading Rota Master onto Adastra.
•Be trained as a call handler, driver and receptionist and undertake adequate shifts to maintain up to
•Be responsible for the accuracy of the clinicians and compliancy database ensuring that the statutory
and clinical information is up to date. This includes mandatory suitability and verification of
documentation (i.e. CRB, MPS, RCN and medical indemnities).
•Work with locum Agencies to ensure a high standard of locum cover when the rota demands.
•Assist the Rota Supervisor with any new projects.
•Participate with on-call commitments with other managers
•Ensure updated mandatory training requirements are met.
Who We're Looking For Someone Who Can...
• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload with a flexible
approach to ever changing demands
• Fully utilise the following computer applications: Excel, Word, Rota Master and Adastra
• Be fully computer literate and able to build and manipulate data base information as required.
• Offer exceptional communication and influencing skills, to facilitate the provision of
adequate and effective rota cover.
• Be a team player and also able to work without constant supervision, able to make decisions and
implement those decisions confidently.
The role is Full time working up to 37.50 hours per week, with occasional out of hours and evening meetings.
