We're looking for a Senior Primary Care Nurse with an interest in BBV to join our healthcare department at HMP Wayland. This will mean working inside the prison.
HMP Wayland is a Category C male training prison with a capacity for 1,017. Located near the village of Griston in Norfolk the site is built up of 13 residential units and has a full healthcare unit.
The salary range for this role is up to £34,000 per annum – dependent on experience.

About the Job
As a Senior Nurse you will work as part of an integrated healthcare team, using your clinical expertise, decision making and problem solving skills to provide skilled and evidence based nursing care for patients in the prison. You will work within your scope of practice, in accordance with Care UK and prison service policies and procedures in line with the NMC Code of professional conduct, performance and ethics for nurses and midwives.
You'll be responsible for leading and developing a team providing clinical supervision to all staff.
Are you new to prison healthcare?
Do not worry... you will be supported and mentored throughout your first 6 months with Care UK by experienced teams of highly skilled nurses and practitioners as well as management.

This is a permanent role with the hours being 37.5 per week. The salary is £34,000 FTE per annum - dependent on experience.
