Ophthalmic Nurse

If you are looking to join an energetic and vibrant organisation that truly makes a difference to people’s lives on a daily basis we would like to hear from you. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patient’s treatment is of the highest standard.

About the role

Working as a Nurse in Ophthalmology at our Will Adams NHS Treatment Centre you’ll provide support to the patients, ensuring that a safe and effective service is provided to all users across the department. This will involve liaising with the recovery, theatre, ward and radiology teams when required. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.

With recent experience working as a Nurse it would be advantageous if you have worked in acute healthcare and have prior experience in Ophthalmology. More important though is your flexibility, your knowledge of infection control, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
