Due to the success of our last open days across Yorkshire, we are hosting an open day at HMP YOI Doncaster on the 28th November 2019
We are welcoming Registered Adult and Mental Health Nurses, Substance Misuse Nurses (RGN, RNLD or RMN - with Substance Misuse experience), Paramedics as well as other healthcare professionals (GP's and Pharmacy Technicians) to come and meet the healthcare teams from HMP YOI Doncaster, HMP YOI Moorland / Hatfield and HMP Lindholme in an open day.
HMP Lindholme is a Category C/D men's prison located near Hatfield Woodhouse in Doncaster
HMP YOI Doncaster, is a Category B men's private prison, located in the Marshgate area of Doncaster
HMP YOI Moorland is Category C men’s prison and Young Offenders Institution, near Hatfield Woodhouse in Doncaster

Please note, we do ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to pass through the gate and receive your visitors badge for the day.

This day will give anyone who may be interested in a career within Health in Justice the opportunity to speak with staff and management who work in the secure environment, an insight to mental health, primary care and substance misuse within the prison, Q&A sessions with our Healthcare management, and finally a visit around the establishment to get a feel for what prison healthcare is really like.
During the day you will be speaking with staff about the wealth of benefits that Care UK offers including possibility of flexible working, salary packages and training opportunities.

Note: you will be unable to attend the event unless you have confirmed your attendance a minimum of two days prior so we can organise your gate pass.
Please be aware that there are prohibited items within the prison environment such as mobile phones, memory sticks, recording devices, chewing gum. This is not an exhaustive list, if you are unsure please check with gate staff before entering. Lockers may be available on the day, but please ensure that these items are not brought with you onto the prison site. Please contact me if you wish to be sent the full list.
