HMP Highpoint comprises of two sites adjacent to each other, but separate establishments known as North and South sites. It's a category C, male training prison for sentenced prisoners, including prisoners serving life sentences, and has an operational capacity of 1323. Located on the A143 at Stradishall, which is approximately 7 miles from Haverhill when heading to Bury St. Edmunds. It's within 20 miles of the A14 to the north and the M11 to the west.

Receive an hourly rate of up to £18.36 per hour depending on experience.
What do we need from you so you can do the job?
As a Bank Nurse, you can expect to be involved in everything from clinical triage to carrying out nurse-led clinics; reviewing patient histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to. Across everything you do, you’ll maintain accurate records and provide the kind of helpful, empathetic support that will make every patient feel at ease.

This is a Bank role, working shifts as and when required - to cover annual leave and short notice requirements etc.
Shift times are as follows:
North Site Hours:
08:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
08:00 – 17:00 Weekends and Bank Holidays
South Site Hours:
07:45 – 18:15 Monday to Friday
08:00 to 18:00 Weekends and Bank Holidays
