Job Summary

A new opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our fantastic team at Brighton Station Health Centre on a bank basis.

This role will be working across both general practice and the walk in centre on an ad hoc bank basis and you will play an integral role in delivering a high quality service to our patients in a busy, fast paced and rewarding environment.

Responsible To

Key Responsibilities

As an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you’ll be vital to the Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day. As well as ordering investigations and interpreting results, you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you will have:

•Nurse-led management of minor illness, minor ailments and injuries
•Recent primary and community nursing experience
•Recent experience of face-to-face patient care•Experience of patient contact services and / or primary care nursing


•RGN•Degree level / Postgraduate level ANP qualification
•Evidence of recent study (PREP)
•Recognised Nurse Prescribing Qualification
•Postgraduate, e.g. ENB 998 Teaching /Mentorship course
