Receive an annual salary of up to £36,000 - depending on experience. You will also get a number of benefits including a company contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 public bank holidays plus CPD and re-validation support.

A bit about the job..
As the Deputy Head of Healthcare you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services across the prison. You will manage service level agreements, ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the essential standards of quality and safety.
You will also be deputising for the Head of Healthcare in their absence and supporting them across the range of their duties.
This is a unique opportunity to provide operational management support within the Prison setting. The role involves working across 2 sites housing adult males over the age of 21 years old.
HMP Grendon is a closed Therapeutic prison and HMP Springhill is an open prison where the focus is on rehabilitation and resettlement. Care UK delivers Primary Care health services to both sites providing a unique opportunity to work in 2 very different settings.
A little bit about you...
You will be able to provide evidence of your leadership ability and will have undertaken management training, with an understanding of clinical governance and staff management. You will have an awareness of risk assessment and managing budgets.
This is a full-time vacancy, working 37.5 hour per week.
