Have you ever thought that working within a prison could be the next step and new role that you're looking for but your just not sure if it would be the right role for you?

We are welcoming Registered Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians and Healthcare Assistants to come and meet the healthcare teams from HMP Hewell and learn about how Care UK works and what opportunities we have within this site.

On the Day...

Date: Wednesday 4th December 2019

Start: 10:00

The day will run from 10:00 through to 13:30 with the opportunity to meet the team, learn more about the roles and have a tour of the site. We also have opportunity for interviews until 4pm.

Location: HMP Hewell Training Centre, HMP Hewell, Hewell Lane, Redditch B97 6QS

To attend this event, we ask that you contact us on the details provided to secure your place.

This day will give anyone who may be interested in a career within Health in Justice the opportunity to speak with staff and management who work in the secure environment, an insight to mental health, primary care and substance misuse within the prison, Q&A sessions with our Healthcare management, and finally a visit around the establishment to get a feel for what prison healthcare is really like.

During the day you will be speaking with staff about the wealth of benefits that Care UK offers including possibility of full-time, part-time, bank roles, salary and benefits and training opportunities.

Important Information

Note: you will be unable to attend the event unless you have confirmed your attendance a minimum of two days prior so we can organise your gate pass.

Please be aware that there are prohibited items within the prison environment such as mobile phones, memory sticks, recording devices, chewing gum. This is not an exhaustive list, if you are unsure please check with gate staff before entering. Lockers may be available on the day, but please ensure that these items are not brought with you onto the prison site. Please contact me if you wish to be sent the full list.
