The Administrator - Mental Health Lead will be integral to the mental health team at HMP Guys Marsh. We are in the progress of implementing our new mental health specification to enable an extended service. The post holder will have an active input to model the new service.

Responsible for carrying out general administrative duties within HMP Guys Marsh. Work within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries.
A key responsibility is the collection and collation of accurate mental health performance data for internal and external reporting requirements.
Working in a prison environment can be challenging and fast paced. You need to be able to work effectively under pressure. The successful applicant will be dynamic and show initiative and ensure the mental health needs of our patients are safely and effectively met, whilst finding ways to improve and develop the service. This position will give you the chance to develop and learn new skills, with excellent training opportunities provided for professional development; there is a strong track record for career progression within the organisation!
Previous administration experience is essential as is Mental Health knowledge, alongside the ability to manage your own workload and act independently with excellent communication skills.
Hours - Full time - approx. 37.5hrs per week
Salary -up to £20,200 per annum dependent on experience
