Care UK Hospitals, or NHS treatment centres, as they are often called, provide prompt assessment, diagnosis and treatment to over 80,000 NHS patients each year.
Our nine modern and comfortable hospitals offer a range of diagnostic services as well as inpatient and day services for patients who need surgical treatment. Patients are referred for treatment by their GP and are then able to choose to come to us using the NHS e-Referral Service (formerly Choose & Book).
Our treatment centres use the latest technology and are staffed by friendly, professional teams. They cover a variety of specialties, including orthopaedics, endoscopy, urology, gynaecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery and general surgery. Most centres also offer diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays and MRI, CT and ultrasound scans.
Care UK focuses on providing elective care across all of its treatment centres. We proudly allow our staff to apply their knowledge, skills and experience in a pre-arranged, non-emergency care environment. They can focus on providing the best quality health care to patients and work in a stress free team.
Why choose us?
We do everything we can to ensure the entire process of receiving care is as seamless and stress-free as possible. Our waiting times for outpatient and inpatient treatment are short, and patients can choose a time and date for their appointment to suit them.
When a patient visits us for an outpatient appointment we aim to provide a diagnosis as well as treatment options in a single visit, saving them the inconvenience of returning for follow up visits.
We survey 5% of our patients each week to better understand how patients view our services, and we aim to implement any ideas they may have for improvement and to maintain our high quality standards. Our treatment centres regularly out-perform the top 20% of NHS hospitals in patient satisfaction surveys.
Committed to quality
Our drive for quality has led to innovations in procedures and an improvement in the patient experience that has encouraged commissioners across the country to partner with us. We are confident that our best practice and expertise will benefit patients across the country for many years to come.
Our colleagues are passionate about creating an exceptional experience for patients, and we are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of quality and safety. What’s more, our teams are developing new approaches to treatment, allowing us to tackle the rising demands being placed on the healthcare system.
