Care UK has appointed Adeline Taylor, a senior nurse with more than 20 years’ clinical experience, to work with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), GPs and patient groups to ensure swift access to treatment.
A mother of two, Adeline has spent more than a year on a national project that examined ways of smoothing the patient pathway from initial GP visit to treatment and recovery.
She said: “While patient waiting times are high in some areas, in others, services have short waits, for example at Devizes NHS Treatment Centre.
“I will be working with medical professionals across the county to ensure their patients receive the right treatment as quickly as possible and sharing feedback to the centre’s management on what services those groups would like to see developed.”
Adeline will also be listening to the feedback from the centre’s Patient Forum and will be providing information to patients and community groups.
When she is not working on developing patient services, Adeline is a keen gardener and up-cycler, re-upholstering tired and out-of-date furniture to create something new and on-trend.
