Angela, who works as a nurse in the dental department at Southampton NHS Treatment Centre, has been out training with her husband and daughter in order to take on the 22-mile beautiful but gruelling Dorset route.
Angela said: “It is a demanding course with lots of steep climbs to test the legs and stamina but it will be worth it. Over the last two years we have had several friends and family members affected by cancer and so I wanted to give something back to the charity that does so much for people living with the condition.”
Last year Angela took on the Clarendon Walk for Naomi House and this year she, and her family, are back taking on weekend hikes in the New Forest to prepare her for the walk.
She said: “Our friends and family, along with people at the centre, are being generous with their donations and I’d like to raise as much possible for this excellent charity that provides so many people with care, support and information.”
