Job Summary

We are currently looking for an Administrator to join our multidisciplinary Outpatient and Pre-assessment team at Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre in Bristol.

Responsible To

Outpatient, Endoscopy and PEC Manager

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Outpatient and Pre-assessment team you will provide a comprehensive administration service to the department.

Key duties will include:

• Calling patients pre-operatively following a prepared script
• Contacting patients on internal waiting lists to offer earlier appointments where possible
• Tracking patient case notes in and out of the department
• Collating patient results following pre-assessment
• Monitoring clinic capacity

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Relevant administration experience in a healthcare or service sector
• Experience of dealing with the public in person and by phone
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills


• Good level of general education - GCSE/A’level standard or equivalent

Additional Information

Successful candidates will be expected to be flexible regarding shift patterns. This includes evening and weekend working. The salary for this role is £16,998.00 per annum.
