Due to expansion of our Ophthalmic Services we are seeking an enthusiastic registered nurse or ophthalmic qualified nurse to join our caring team, working 22.5 hours per week. The role requires you to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, in line with protocols and policies of the local service and Care UK and professional boundaries.
While reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, you will be working independently and at times without direct supervision, accountable for your own professional actions. Ensuring the safety and well-being of service users is a key part of the role as well as always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centred care principles.
We have opportunities for bank, part time and full time staff, depending on your preferences, experience and qualifications. If you are a competent non medical injector or a Glaucoma Nurse Specialist, there are opportunities for you to participate in Rochdale Ophthalmology Cats growing services.
If you are not an Ophthalmic Qualified Nurse, you will be supported and be given the opportunity to undertake in house Ophthalmic Nurse Training.
