Job Summary

At Care UK we work towards offering a good work life balance and currently within our NHS 111 service, we are now hiring for homeworking clinicians to work weekends. This is a great opportunity for pathways trained Clinical Advisors who are looking for more flexibility within their role.

Not only could you qualify for our "Golden Hello" of £500 if you are a current pathways trained clinician but... We will offer you:
-Flexibility
-Training
- Portfolio development / CPD
- Extensive Care UK training and development
-Career Progression
-Private pension
-Security
-Competitive Pay
-Support

The ideal candidate would be a Registered General Nurse or Paramedic who has a minimum of 6 months NHS Pathways experience and have successfully completed Core Modules 1 & 2. We would also welcome pathways trained clinicians who are auditors, as auditing shifts may be available in addition to clinical shifts.

As a homeworking clinician you must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours a week over weekends, 12 hours a month would then need to be worked at your local site, plus one additional standby shift every four weeks.

These will be peak hours during the weekends only. You are also required to achieve specified performance criteria, including an average of 4 cases per hour and consistent audit scores of 90% or above.

As a homeworking clinician you will need to have broadband set up at home. This is required to have a minimum download speed of 5.0Mbps; anything lower than this then it may be too slow.

Shifts will be paid at £16.64 per hour during your induction and training, then £18.49 per hour for shifts up to 11pm and then between the hours of 11pm and 7am there is an enhanced rate of £21.02 per hour.
