Care UK is looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to join our team supporting the secondary care service line.

Responsible to

You will be responsible to the Head of Facilities Management and work closely with Hospital Directors, Finance Managers, Head of Procurement and Head of Health, Safety and Environment.

Key Responsibilities

Covering all sites across the UK but primarily focused on the South and South West of England, you will have extensive experience in healthcare, hard FM and contract management having previously worked in the NHS or private sector.

An assured and confident self-starter, you will have an inquisitive mind, pay particular attention to detail and have the necessary desire and energy to make a significant contribution to maintaining the quality of the property portfolio. In this role you will be expected to manage and ensure the delivery of all aspects of planned, reactive and cyclical maintenance as well as small and medium scale project works. In addition, you will plan, undertake and document regular inspections, check compliance records are up to date and that all consequential actions are monitored and successfully managed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience gained in a healthcare environment
• An excellent understanding of engineering services and project management
• Extensive experience in managing outsourced contracts and working with facilities and infrastructure teams
• An appropriate qualification in engineering services, project management, building surveyor or architecture
