PSL is a service provided under the umbrella of Care UK 111. It is a designated telephone line designed to assist Health Professionals to refer their patients into other health services, both to assist streamlining and data capturing. The Role will involve following processes designed to meet the needs of GP's, commissioners, and referral destinations.
The successful candidate will be working within a small team of Experienced Health Advisors that are overseen by a Clinical Supervisor, and work on a 7 day shift pattern, working shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. that rotate over 4 week period, which will include working at weekends and Bank holidays when required.
PSL Clinical Supervisor
This role is essential to ensure Professional Support Line is adequately staffed and can provide sufficient access to HCA and GP's, wishing to refer to its service providers. Maintaining safety, and allowing PSL to meet the requirements of its commissioners.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have;
• A clear and professional telephone manner.
• The ability to type and record information accurately.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good IT literacy.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure.
Previous experience is not required as training will be provided.
Shift pattern will be
Monday to Friday;
8 am - 4 pm, 9 am - 5 pm , 10 am - 6 pm, 11 am - 7 pm, 12 - 8 pm – each shift is 7.5 hours with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break
Saturday and Sunday & Bank Holiday;
8 am -2 pm, 2 pm - 8 pm – each day 6 hours, no lunch break.
The part time role will be hours to suit, however shifts need to be 7.5 hours per day, plus a weekend shift of 6 hours or more is needed. Minimum 13.5 hours per week.
