Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a coordinator to join our multidisciplinary outpatients team at Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre.

Responsible To

Outpatient Pre-assessment team and Endoscopy Manager

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be expected to coordinate the flow of patients arriving in the outpatients department to ensure that the patient experience is optimised and that journey times through the department are minimised.

You will be the central point of contact for patients and will liaise with clinicians and other teams to make sure that the patient is at the centre of service delivery.

In addition, you will be expected to monitor and report on patient experience against key performance indicators (KPI's) within the team.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Recent experience working within an acute or elective healthcare environment
• Experience in a role where people and processes were coordinated
• Recent public facing experience
• Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
• Excellent communication skills


• Good level of general education
• NVQ qualification or recognised training in administration
