An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Prescribing Pharmacist to join the Surrey out of hours (OOH) service.
The Surrey OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed.
You will be based in our call centre/office in Dorking which is just around the corner from Dorking West train station. We also have free parking available if you prefer to drive.
Within this job, you’ll be responsible for providing advice and/or prescribing for patients over the phone once they’ve been referred on via NHS 111.

•Be a qualified Pharmacist with valid PIN Number.
•Be an independent prescriber.
•Previous experience of prescribing post qualification.
•Have an excellent understanding of community pharmacy services
•Previous experience of providing pharmaceutical advise to patients over the phone
Salary & Benefits
We have permanent, bank or self-employed jobs available. Permanent contracts are offered on a part-time basis, up to 24 hours per week.
The hours of work are between 8am - 8pm Saturday & Sunday and 4 hours on a Friday evening. Shifts on a weekend can be between 8 - 12 hours. Please ensure you can work between these hours before applying.
