Care UK Healthcare has a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon vacancy at our Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre in Plymouth.
The treatment centre has grown this year with the addition of a brand new, clean air operating theatre and an endoscopy suite. In addition, we have a pioneering new partnership with the local NHS Trust to undertake all elective orthopaedic surgery. This increase in capacity and activity has created a need to recruit an additional Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon; the successful applicant will be joining a dedicated and professional multi-disciplinary medical healthcare team. The requirement is full time, however applications from those looking for part-time hours are also welcomed.
With an excellent reputation and one of the leading providers of NHS elective healthcare in the UK, the Peninsula Treatment Centre is a modern independent hospital run by Care UK. The treatment centre has been delivering high quality care to NHS patients across Devon and Cornwall for 12 years and has recently been awarded “outstanding” by the CQC, the first independent hospital to receive this recommendation.
As a Care UK Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon you will have access to great facilities in a well-structured and relaxed environment. In return we offer a competitive base salary plus a range of benefits including contributory pension scheme, full CSNT indemnity cover and 10 days CPD with generous financial contribution. We will also offer a generous relocation package.
