Are you looking to develop your GP career in an environment like no other?

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements (a significant proportion of whom have a history of substance misuse) and make timely decisions regarding future management.

You will also be required to provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities.

It doesn’t end there; you will have a chance to become actively involved in audit, teaching and training (management of substance misuse and/or blood borne viruses) as well as helping us to adapt the service to the ever-changing needs of the patients.

If you are new to offender health, we will create a suitable induction package to ensure you are equipped for this exciting role.

About you:

You will need to be MBChB or MBBS qualified and be registered with the GMC and on a PCT Medical Performers List. Although it is not essential, RCGP1 part 1 is desirable.

Additional Information

This is a part time position working 4 session s per week. These will be on a Tuesday and Friday from 8am - 12 noon and 1pm -
5pm.

The salary for this position is up to £100,000 per annum (pro rata).
