As a dedicated Coordinator who enjoys a busy, ever changing work environment we need you to join our growing team at the Gloucestershire Out of Hours (OOH) service on a bank basis.
The Gloucestershire OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed.
The OOH service operates throughout a number of locations within Gloucestershire, however you will be mainly based in our administration office in Gloucester.
The Coordinator is the key link and liaison point for all members of staff and is responsible for the management, escalation and reporting of our Service.
Within this job you'll be responsible for:
•Managing call volumes within triage pool and home visits to ensure we’re meeting out targets.
•Overseeing the whole service and providing direction/distribution of workload and support.
•Managing and directing the Coordinator Assistants to provide adequate support.
•Completing the Coordinator’s log, reporting any problems, escalation, concerns or absence/lateness on shift.

In order for you to be considered for the job, as a minimum we are looking for you to:
•Have a good standard of education
•Have excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
•Have previous experience within an administrative role
•Have good IT skills and an understanding of data protection
•Have sound knowledge and understanding of IT and Microsoft Office.
It would be nice for you to have any one of the below, although these are not essential:
•An understanding of the OOH national standard targets
Salary & Benefits
We have bank positions available, where you have the flexibility to choose when you work.
We are open from 18.30 – 08.00 Monday – Friday and 08.00 – 08.00 (24 hours) over the weekends and Bank Holidays so you will be required to work between these times.
